ARBOCEL®, powdered cellulose, is a chemically inert excipient and thus is not metabolized by the human body. It is often used in formulations as an alternative to lactose. ARBOCEL® has binding properties and a natural fiber structure that leads to stable tablets with low friability. ARBOCEL® A300 is a coarse grade with excellent flow properties typically used in direct compression or capsule filling applications.
